ABOUT CHRISTINA MCKELVEY

When Christina McKelvey started cutting hair in the mid 1990’s, her vision for her own salon included building relationships with other young professionals and creating timeless creations that would contribute to personal growth and success in all walks of life. Christina believes that building these relationships are as valuable as the quality of her work itself—that time is the most precious gift you can give anyone.

This dream began for Christina in 1994 when she received her cosmetology license from the Tennessee School of Beauty, and quickly developed her creative skills and entrepreneurial goals by working with Metz & Kerchner. Soon Christina became internationally recognized when one of her styles was chosen to be featured in Inspire Magazine. She was even contracted to work with the glitz and glam of celebrity fashion designers Austin and Santino from the popular television show Project Runway.

In June 2002, Christina opened in Lenoir City, TN, the original location of Timeless Creations Salon & Spa, with the goal of blending the energy of a hair salon with the calmness of a spa. Christina named her salon and spa “Timeless Creations” in memory of her sister Paula McKelvey who was Christina’s biggest supporter throughout all her years. Christina wanted her sister to be timeless in her heart and with the Creator, and aims to transfer this passion and timeliness into her work with her guests.

Christina found great success in the Knoxville, TN area where she was featured on multiple media stations, such as Channel 10, and consistently voted a hometown favorite. Christina has recently relocated to the Hollywood, California and has opened a new location of Timeless Creations. She is currently expanding her services by working with modeling agencies and film production studios.
